Eni Award 2016 - Call for Proposal

Eni assigns each year the Eni Award to promote a better use of energy sources, to promote research on the environment and to help new generations of researchers to emerge.

I would like hereby to inform you that the 2016 Edition of the Eni Award has been now launched and that the Rules and Regulations and candidature proposal forms are available at the following link:

As you may see, in this year’s Edition the Eni Award assigns four main international prizes for outstanding achievements in scientific works in the field of Energy and Environment, and two national prizes to be assigned to PhD students.

- The New Frontiers of Hydrocarbons (Downstream) Prize worth 200.000 Euros;
- The New Frontiers of Hydrocarbons (Upstream) Prize worth 200.000 Euros;
- The Renewable Energy Prize worth 200.000 Euros;
- The Protection of the Environment Prize worth 200.000 Euros;
- Two Debut in Research Prizes worth 25.000 Euros each.

This call for proposal process is open to those who meet the criteria defined in the Regulations and Announcements and who wish to participate to this year’s edition, or who wish to nominate a scientist as a candidate.

The deadline for the presentation of the Candidatures falls on November 20, 2015, before and no later than 5 p.m. CET - Central European Time. Please note that, after 5 p.m. CET of November 13, the Scientific Secretariat won’t create new accounts, in order to provide the most suitable assistance to the already registered Candidatures, within the deadline.
