Sustainable Chemistry, Enabling Technologies, and Reactions Mediated by Different Modes of Catalysis and Biotransformations
About the research line
Research line in Sustainable Chemistry that explores enabling technologies as well as various modes of catalysis, including photocatalysis, electrocatalysis, organocatalysis, and metal catalysis to steer chemical reactions. It also seeks to investigate biotransformation processes aiming for the efficient and environmentally friendly synthesis of compounds. There is a significant emphasis on waste reduction, effective resource utilization, and minimization of environmental impacts. Additionally, it aims to use data science tools and artificial intelligence for the development of new catalytic processes.
