Total credits per subject: 6 (six)

Weekly workload of activities in each stage: A minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 10 hours.

The total class hours assumed by the interns of a discipline will not exceed, in any case, 30% (thirty percent) of the workload of the graduation discipline.

Definition of eligible undergraduate courses

  1. The disciplines of the general Chemistry curriculum and arising from the expression of interest of the PPGQ students in studying them in the PESCD with a certain professor responsible for an undergraduate class in Chemistry will be eligible;
  2. These professors must be doctors and part of the permanent teaching staff of UFSCar.
  3. Such a statement should be evaluated using the selection criteria of the priority order (CAPES scholarship recipients).
  4. The involvement of more than one intern per class in an undergraduate discipline will be authorized, at the discretion of the CPG, if justified based on the activity plan to be developed.

The total class hours assumed by the interns of a discipline will not exceed, in any case, 30% (thirty percent) of the workload of the graduation discipline.

Enrollment of Postgraduate Students in the disciplines

  1. The student will enroll, with the consent of their advisor, opting for up to three different undergraduate courses, in order of priority.
  2. Students cannot do internships in disciplines in which their advisors are the responsible teachers.
  3. When the student participates in the PESCD for the second time, it is recommended that they do not choose the undergraduate course in which they developed activities for the first time, unless justified based on their activity plan, at the discretion of the CPG.
  4. When participating in the PESCD for the second time, the student will be able to study a subject taught by his advisor.

Selection criteria: the priority order for selecting applicants for a given undergraduate course is as follows

  1. when the internship is mandatory for CAPES scholarship holders
  2. when the activities involve undergraduate disciplines in the areas of Physical, Analytical, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, priority will be given to students from the respective areas of concentration in the PPGQ;
  3. number of credits already completed in graduate courses;
  4. já ter cursado Estágio Supervisionado de Capacitação Docente em Química 1;
  5. rendimento acumulado médio em disciplinas de pós-graduação (calculado conforme previsto no artigo 28 do Regimento Interno do PPG-Q).

Activities plan: Once the undergraduate discipline in which the student will be an intern is defined, he/she must prepare, together with the professor responsible for it, the intern's Activities Plan, and the deadline for submission will be defined in the PPGQ/UFSCar academic calendar.

A copy of this plan must be handed over to the person responsible for the Supervised Internship of Teacher Training in Chemistry 1 or 2, for follow-up.

Activities Report: At the end of the internship, the student must submit to the professor responsible for the discipline Supervised Internship for Teaching Training in Chemistry 1 or 2 the respective activity report, while following standards, which must be forwarded to the PPGQ, with the opinion of the professor responsible for the discipline institution where the internship was carried out. It is up to the professor responsible for the discipline Supervised Internship of Teacher Training in Chemistry 1 or 2, after evaluating the final report, to assign the final grade to the student in the discipline.
